Articles Outpatient OptionsWhile residential treatment is very effective, it's not for everyone at every time. Find out more about the alternatives.
 Residential treatment offers an intensive program that brings about good results for those struggling with a chemical or process addiction. For some, though, outpatient programs like those at FRN Services are the best choice at this point in your journey. Offering flexibility, these intensive programs can be used after a residential program was started or in place of residential treatment (for those whom residential treatment isn't necessary).
All the same areas are covered and with the same intensity, just in a different setting. Everything from family, spousal and interpersonal relationships to trauma, workplace and situational stressors along with any mental health challenges are all addressed. As with residential treatment, the goal is long-term sobriety, but this is done through a flexible, accessible treatment option. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) include recovery-oriented education groups that cover relapse prevention, coping strategies, a 12-step approach to treatment and a full range of support services.
Another option for those looking for additional recovery support is FRN's Care Management. This program focuses on developing the daily recovery life skills needed to survive – and thrive – in "real life" settings. The focus is on guidance, coaching, mentoring and monitoring.
Medication management and group or family therapies are also available. In addition, all outpatient facilities integrate holistic methods like yoga, massage and medication to treat the entire person.
